Review Of The Tenga Egg

With so much gimmickry in designer sex toys nowadays you could be forgiven for slotting a male masturbator that’s shaped like an egg into this category. Let me see my penis inside an egg, this hardly incites a hard on of any proportion. The first question is one of logistics, my cock is long (ok about 7 inches) and reasonably thick whilst an egg shaped vessel is round and proportionally stout, you see the problem. The Tenga Egg is produced not surprisingly by Tenga a Japanese company who first introduced the masturbator to the market as a onacup. The concept seems quirky in true Japanese style but has certainly taken the ‘luxury’ male sex toy market by storm by which I mean aside from the cheap, chemical ridden fake vagina like imports from China.

The Tenga Egg arrived and was the ‘clicker’ version of the mini masturbator. The differing versions available extend to the wavy, silky, twister, twinkle and so on. The names seem to refer to the textured interior of the sex toy with each Tenga version giving a slightly different effect during masturbation. Although I only tried the clicker egg I would doubt very much that you would be picking out the spider over the stepper in a blind masturbation test, although if any sex toy store out there is looking for a candidate!

Having seen images of Tenga Egg I actually imagined it to arrive 3 times the size it is and for some reason was surprised it is eggactly (sorry couldn’t resist) the same size as an egg. Crack the outer shell open and the masturbator is a silicone egg that feels particularly soft for a male masturbator. Inside the tube is a sachet of egg lotion that you squeeze all the way inside, already it looks more inviting. Pushing inside Tenga Egg you realise just how stretchy it is and pulling all the way back on the luxury masturbator would cover King Dong so no worries about not fitting inside. The Tenga Egg actually feels pretty amazing which was something I also had not expected. The interior texture certainly adds an extra stimulus and heightens sensation as compared to a masturbator sleeve or tube. The clicker egg texture runs all the way around the tip and bearing in mind the end of Tenga Eggs are enclosed makes for a concentrated massage at the tip of the penis where sensitivity is greatest. To be honest it’s one of the best masturbators I have tried even better than the Fleshlight. Your cock does look a little strange straining against the end of the silicone dome but the Tenga Egg is not about aesthetics are more about a blooming good wank. My girlfriend tried out the egg on me and in her own words found it ‘highly erotic’, enjoying the view inside the soft sphere. The texture feels great in the hand and allows you to squeeze against your shaft at different points for different pleasurable sensations.

What didn’t I like about the Tenga Egg? The fact that it is for one time use only isn’t appealing at a tenner a pop but I managed to re-use mine 3 times. The trick is to turn the egg inside out and wash with cleaner or hot water and then stretch over a deodorant can to dry. In fact on the fourth attempt it actually split which prevented me from going any further but if you didn’t mind using a condom would probably last a lot longer. Tenga do make designer sex toys and the marketing hype is pretty massive but I can honestly say that the little devil felt fantastic and I would certainly recommend you give it a go!
